The Homeless BBQ

On Saturday we went to the Homeless BBQ. There's a lot of homeless people. A person went to a wedding the day before so they brought a whole lot of food. I took some pictures too. I saw my friend Ethan that I haven't seen him in a long time be cause he's been on a very long trip. There were over 200 people from the neighborhood.

The Lama Temple

We are in Guangzhou now! It is are last day in China. In Beijing we went to see the Lama temple. It was so cool! There was a Buddah that was about 60 feet tall which is about 18 meters tall! There was 8 meters or 8 feet under ground! It was so tall that they had to build the Buddah and then build the building around it! But Kierstyn was sick so she couldn't go.

School In China

Today I went to school with my friend Leah! Kierstyn only drew and colored! She is so silly! I wrote two letters. One to Kaiden and one to my mommy and daddy. I played with pattern blocks at free time.

The Beijing Zoo

Today me and my sisters went to the Beijing Zoo! My mom didn't go because she had to do something with our passports. We saw pandas at the zoo. There was a big fat turkey thing and it had a big fat white tail! I think I only saw 5 pandas at the zoo but there were about 10 pandas! There were 8 baby pandas and 2 big pandas. There was a nut like bird it was shaped bird it even looked like a nut!

The Great Wall

Yesterday we went to the Great Wall of China! We only went to the first tower though. My mom didn't go up to the tower because she couldn't come back down. It was really steep! We went a little bit past the first tower and my dad said we only had to go to the first tower.

Getting Kaiden

We finally got Kaiden! We took a bus to get him. It was a long bus ride to the orphanage. Kaiden is really big. He is almost as big as Kenadie! He rolls his head around really funny. Sometimes he falls forward on his face when he's eating! He's really funny and silly. He spits out his food sometimes.

Our Long Ride

Now we are in China. It was a very long plane ride to China. It took about 20 hours to get here but it was worth it. The first plane there was HUGE. It had two floors! We were on the bottom floor though. On one plane there were mini TVs on the headrest in front of you. The mini TVs were on the second plane. On the first plane it was about 17 hours on the second one it was about 3 hours 36 minutes.
