School In China

Today I went to school with my friend Leah! Kierstyn only drew and colored! She is so silly! I wrote two letters. One to Kaiden and one to my mommy and daddy. I played with pattern blocks at free time.

The Beijing Zoo

Today me and my sisters went to the Beijing Zoo! My mom didn't go because she had to do something with our passports. We saw pandas at the zoo. There was a big fat turkey thing and it had a big fat white tail! I think I only saw 5 pandas at the zoo but there were about 10 pandas! There were 8 baby pandas and 2 big pandas. There was a nut like bird it was shaped bird it even looked like a nut!

The Great Wall

Yesterday we went to the Great Wall of China! We only went to the first tower though. My mom didn't go up to the tower because she couldn't come back down. It was really steep! We went a little bit past the first tower and my dad said we only had to go to the first tower.

Getting Kaiden

We finally got Kaiden! We took a bus to get him. It was a long bus ride to the orphanage. Kaiden is really big. He is almost as big as Kenadie! He rolls his head around really funny. Sometimes he falls forward on his face when he's eating! He's really funny and silly. He spits out his food sometimes.

Our Long Ride

Now we are in China. It was a very long plane ride to China. It took about 20 hours to get here but it was worth it. The first plane there was HUGE. It had two floors! We were on the bottom floor though. On one plane there were mini TVs on the headrest in front of you. The mini TVs were on the second plane. On the first plane it was about 17 hours on the second one it was about 3 hours 36 minutes.

Leaving for China

We are almost ready to leave for China. I am so excited! We leave for the airport in just 2 hours! I have my backpack all ready to go with my new didj and my cat Silver. Mommy says there are a few more surprises in there for me when I get on the airplane. The didj was one of them but I got it early so that I could set it up. I'm such a lucky girl! Silver is super excited for her first ride on an airplane too. This will be my third time on an airplane but never for this long. It's going to take us 20 hours to get there.

Hospital Visit

Today I was in the hospital to have an endoscopy done. My Mommy took these picture of me after I came out of recovery. I was allowed to eat as many popsicles as I wanted. I only had part of one red one though. I had to get an IV for fluids while the doctor did his procedure. Now I am home resting with my sister and my Mommy. My Daddy took my other sister to New Community Kids. The doctor said that I could not go because I needed to rest while the sleeping gas wears off. I was allowed to pick out my own Beanie Baby before I left. I picked out a gray kitten with a red bow that I named Silver. She is excited to go to China with me in two days on her first plane ride
